To Our Patients:
- If you have a PACEMAKER – you cannot have an MRI.
- If you are pregnant, we will not perform X-Rays, and we will
need written authorization from your OB/GYN prior to your
MRI exam.
- Please arrive for your appointment 15 minutes prior to your
scheduled time to complete necessary paperwork.
- Please make sure proper insurance authorization is obtained
prior to your examination.
MRI & X-RAY PATIENTS:
- There are no special instructions when preparing for your
MRI & X-Ray examination.
- You may eat normally and take any medications that you
usually take.
- Wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to change into a
gown depending on the examination you are to receive.
Please bring the following information with you:
- Prescription (without the prescription, your test cannot be done
and you will be rescheduled)
- Prior reports & images (without them a comparison cannot be
made)
- Identification (driver’s license, etc.)
- Insurance card(s)
- Stent card or any other implanted medical device card (if you
have an implanted medical device)
FILMS:
A CD or films of your images will be provided to you or your referring
physician, free of charge. If additional copies are required there will be
a charge of $25.00 per set, each time they are printed.
Also, when requesting films, 24 hours notice is required. The films do not
have to be returned to our office, they are yours to keep.
REPORTS:
A report will be prepared and faxed to your referring physician.
